Regarding the screens, when I first saw the house in 1967 they were a factory grey, kind of a galvanized color, and remained so for many years. I’m not sure when they were changed, but Edgar Jr. made all design decisions regarding the house up until his death.

That is from the early or mid 1980’s, as I recall. A tree had fallen in a storm and took out the trellis. It was repaired fairly quickly.

Matt, If you read the Prospectus, you will see that the exterior walls were shipped as panels, with sheathing, siding and windows installed.
