A workshop would be great fun and informative. I often wonder whether, in the intervening 50 years, advances in construction and production techniques would allow us to iron out the problems previously encountered with textile block construction and make it a viable approach now.

Has anyone run across a website or video which well demonstrates, step-by-step, block-by-block, how FLLW's textile block construction was performed on site?

The county records list the owner as a Matthew Kane of Granger, Michigan. The county-appraised value of the home is approximately $275,000, down from $280,000 in 2009.

As delighted as I am that FLLW's works continue to be studied by architecture and engineering students in Europe, can someone re-assure us that he is being studied in his home country as well?

I am reminded of the question asked by a TV character on a long-forgotten show, when informed by someone that he did not own a TV: "Then what is your furniture pointed at?"

(Which does raise the prospect of a new topic: Did FLLW ever "point" his furniture? But I digress....)
