I met the Hults at the 1988 FLWBC conference at Fallingwater. They asked me about getting help to address restoration concerns for their newly acquired house, so I introduced them to Wes Peters. I don't know what that may have led to, but the significant enlargement may have been done by TAA.

Decades ago, I found a store in Santa Monica that had old issues of AH for a quarter apiece. I bought all but one of the issues that contained FLW material.

Built-ins for Usonian houses, as opposed to similarly functioning free-standing units for Prairie houses, undoubtedly came about because of the diminutive size of most of those houses, especially the Jacobs I House and its progeny. I have always like Farwood. It's similar in both design and (almost) scale as Richardson's Stoughton House.

Especially impressive are the reflections of the building in the undulating water of the pools. Eventually CGI zombies will evolve into credible humans, and we can watch Anne Baxter and Joan Fontaine (who resided there as a teen and hated it) walking through the place, stopping for lunch.
