We have access to portions of (7) versions of the plans currently, held by Avery, Univ/ Buffalo, Cornell, Library of Congress and some private collections. Another set was sold at the California Book Auction in the 1980's that we have not seen. Based upon the letters at U/B several more versions exi...

Re: Alert: Wright Chat outages this week

Still trying to delete read messages in my Private Messages file, to make room for new ones. When I mark messages for deletion and press Go, I get: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again." This is fixed. It’s a known bug in the latest version of PHPBB. Most likely, the next...

Re: Videos: Graycliff - Derby, NY

i prefer to think of the esplanade as an outdoor room, the top of the side walls and bench matches the floor level of the house. Similar in many ways to the outdoor space at the Freeman house, although Graycliff's does not start stepping down the incline.

Re: Article: Heath & Davidson Houses (Buffalo, NY) get landmark status

Heath House address

The Heath property has a frontage of 62' facing Soldiers Place. It was carved out of a property owned by Mary Hubbard Heath's cousin, Electa Coatsworth that comprised almost a quarter of the circle's frontage. Soldiers Place is a circle and thus often called Soldiers Circle, they are the same street...
