Last update I heard/read, which was approx. 4-5 years ago, Mrs. Lewis was still alive and living in the house, and the state of decline and disrepair was still ongoing, i.e. pretty much a status quo situation as described in the 2002 article.

There is a Feldman Residence in Berkeley, and it may or may not be by FLW depending upon who's opinion you accept. The Feldman Residence is based on the unbuilt Bell design by FLW, and was built in the 1970's under the now defunct and much loathed TAA Legacy program.

As I recall, the countertops in the kitchen of the magnificently restored Willey Residence are linoleum. You may want to reach out to Steve Sikora to get his input as to how the material has functioned for the Sikora's since it was installed several years ago.
