Arnold Friedman House - FIR TREE - New Mexico

Hello Wrightians, I've been researching about the Arnold Friedman house, but there is very few info and very few shots (interior shots specially). I found that this is the only 100% authentic Wright house in New Mexico. Is that true? So, please if you have stories, plans, drawings, etc share with us.

Franklin Toker's Fallingwater Rising has information on the design. He believes, like Taschen and unlike GA, that it was for Liliane alone, after she and her husband were no longer living together. I've also seen the claim that it was for Edgar Jr. In some thread or other here, one of the participa...

House for Liliane and E.J Kaufmann (BOULDER HOUSE) - CA

Hello Wrightians, Does anybody have stories, info, and specially plans?? Does exist a floor plan of this house? I have seen only 3 renderings, nothing else. I think this is one of the most beautiful and interesting unbuilt projects. Greetings.!!! https://visionsofwright.files.wordpress.com/2015/06/b...

Yes. He may have shot a lot of color -- I do not know -- but his Wright volumes typically have only a sprinkling of color among a sea of black-and-white . . . Have we begun to satisfy your craving for Wall ? I took a look at Goddard, and yawned -- I'm sorry to say. (The first scheme for Goddard was...

Here is Stafford's second batch. I will key all photos with a capital letter. If the triangular portion of the skylight is really missing in the Google view (I can't tell; HOJO made a comment about a different Google view which I didn't get) then it may always have been merely a light fixture, desp...

The three-ply wall doesn't give great promise of acoustic privacy, whether between family members or between the classes . . . Stafford Norris kindly forwarded eight new photos for our delectation. I begin with images of the relief beneath a skylight. The relief is carved wood, surely ? THANKS SO M...

Floor to ceiling windows, doors without mullions, and corner windows are used throughout the house. This brings the "outside in", which is the case in all Wright houses. From 1943-44, Milton Horn collaborated with Wright on a wood relief mural for the house. In 1947, a 1,000-square-foot (...

Just reading the script. It's true that little can be found online for this house. http://www.michiganmodern.org/buildings/carlton-d-and-margaret-wall-house (Storrer and the Monograph have the name as Carlton; in Taschen and on Wright's drawings it is spelled Carleton.) S Yes, I already read the in...

Of the three hexagonal units in the dining room, one is a "small pool for fish, another an aviary for birds, the third a terrarium for plants." Which one is the aquarium ? Must be the fish pool . . . Not sure that's Art Deco, though it might resemble certain public murals associated with ...
