Yes the T&G ceiling should continue inward through the door. I'll have to confirm but i'm nearly 99.5% sure that they would be a continuing board from in to out.

I have, but it would be a HUGE door. 48" wide by 91" tall.

thats great, the screen is nice and actually pretty simple.

I think instead of individual pieces of glass, it would be much stronger and cheaper to do a single sidelight piece of glass, then attach false strips of wood to mimic the individual piece idea.
