Wright Walk ticket for sale

Anyone want/need a ticket for next weekend's Wright walk in Chicago? Something has come up and I cannot attend (boy am I upset).

Anyway...I have one ticket I would like to get rid of. Let me know and we can make some arrangements.

Thanks...

In my opinion I believe that a copyright doesn't go that far unless they wanted to. But as we said it isn't technically against the law if pages are missing and only part of the magazine is posted. If you were to publish the entire thing then you would be breaking the law. I read the rules of the F...

I say we should be told of the copyright date. I don't think they would actually go about copyrighting something up to 2033. "THE ARCHITECTURAL FORUM is published by Time, Inc., Henry R. Luce, President... All rights reserved under Pan American Copyright Convention. Copyright, 1938, by Time In...

JSL, do you have the issue? I think the copyright only goes for the year it was published, books go for about 10 years or so. I think if we saw the Table of Contents maybe we might can see the copyright information. So, you think that a magazine published in early 2009 is in the public domain? And ...

http://www.unc.edu/~unclng/public-d.htm According to this academic website (if I am reading it correctly) a work published in 1939 could have been renewed for a maximum of 67 years. This would take it up to 2006. It would appear that this information has now passed into the public domain. Is this h...

Correct. There are pages missing, including the real cover of the magazine and the Fallingwater fold out photograph by Hedrich Blessing. This is a great publication of FLW's work and is highly recommended. Basically FLW was the editor of this issue. There was such an out pouring of acclaim by archi...

How do you know the copyright has expired? This periodical was owned by a large publishing house. My bet is the copyright is still extant. If you have proof that the copyright has expired, please explain, otherwise, it's nothing better than an urban myth. My bet is if nothing else, that the FLW arch...

Sure you can. They come on ebay frequently. And just because you can't buy something doesn't mean you can steal it.

This doesn't "strain" the fair use doctrine, this is outright copyright theft. Hopefully flickr will delete this information.

Not sure why you would even open the message.

There's a tell-tale in all these spam messages....the user name contains a double letter.

If you think you got infected by something, see the other post about how to get rid of it.

Good luck
