SDR: Thanks for those elevation and floor plan drawings. I'm wondering tho if the floor plan is before the entire complex was mirrored (left to right)? Mr. DeLong mentioned that happened at one point during the initial document creation stage. I unfortunately loaned out my book copy so cant ferret o...

SDR - Two speakers gave presentations. The first was Mr. David G. DeLong, Author of Auldbrass, Frank Llyod Wright’s Southern Plantation and he gave a very nice scholarly 45 minute talk that basically summarized the history of the house, its design, construction, dilapidation and rebirth. It was in...

Everyone - Thanks for the tips and insights. My tix arrived in the mail yesterday... is it November yet?? ;-) @hypnoraygun I'll definitely be going back after the lunches to view things a second and maybe even a third time, with hopefully less crowds. I've been 'driving' the roads with Google street...

And I'm one of the lucky ones benefiting from your sell off! I've been slowly acquiring the softcover versions since the mid 90's. Only a few more to go.

Is there more any information on the Wright items lost in the fire? Was this their own collection or had it been loaned to them?

Either way a tremendous loss,
