I believe Fallingwater has furnishings (tables, shelving, desks, and banquette seats) made from North Carolina black walnut.

Nice to know that www.hooverwebdesign.com was operational in 1867! Can't say I've ever been to RICHARD Center, Wisconsin. :)

Re: Sure, we can call anything "Frank Lloyd Wright"

I believe this house is a "Deck House" from Acorn Deck House Company of Acton, MA. Deck House was started by William Berkes & Robert Brownell and the company has been manufacturing panelized prefabricated homes since 1959. They are still in business. (www.deckhouse.com)

Re: Sure, we can call anything "Frank Lloyd Wright"

True, not FLLW. However, it is an FLLW apprentice deigned house: It is the Clarke residence designed by Robert Carroll May in 1947. It is a few miles from where I live and has altered and abandoned for years. A neighboring May house was taken down some years ago and unfortunately this will likely be...

From The FLLW Foundation Blog: Stuart Graff, CEO 1/31/2020: Over time, and after the Frank Lloyd Wright’s (1959) and Olgivanna Lloyd Wright’s passing (1985), the Fellowship transformed into a more formal architectural firm and institution of learning, and most recently an accredited an...

The last time I was at the Taliesin West bookstore (approx. 2 years ago) they had the plans for sale, even though they weren't listed on the bookstore's web site. You might want to give Taliesin West a call to see if they still have them.

New Color for Bulbulian

I walked by the Bulbulian residence in Rochester, MN this weekend and it has a new coat of paint. The Brick-crete is no longer Pepto-Bismol pink and is now a more subdued tan. Does anyone know what the house's original color was? Was it always painted? There are some unpainted Brick-crete bricks at ...

Wonderful home and addition. Unfortunately, future flooding remains an issue. Anyone have a feel how this could affect a new owner's ability to obtain financing ?
