Re:

Thanks everyone for your kind wishes and interest. We're terrified and happy and daunted and excited. It's going to be a long, long process, but we're hoping to do our best by the house. The first steps will be mostly rescue operations. Thankfully, the basic structure is sound. For instance, all of...

I was just told this home was sold to a "developer" and they have torn the house down. This was information gained from one of the original client's daughter.

What an amazing place. I've tried to see this home from every which angle except the correct one. It's nice to see inside. Thanks for posting this.

I knew an architect in St Louis that met FLW in person, but never got inside of the Pappas house. It just was not opened...

Thank you Dan and Roderick for your information. I have very little time, so I'm (as typical) cramming as much in as possible. Dan, I had planned a Minneapolis trip last year, but we moved and that didn't come to pass. I had looked into Howe's work and the work of Purcell & Elmslie. I'm a bit ru...

Hi all, forgive me for being a "stranger" around here. I honestly thought this site was gone. I'm planning on heading to Iowa and Minneapolis in March and I'm wondering if anyone could help me with some connections? I've already contacted and had good luck with the Trier family/home. I'm h...

Well, the winter is behind us, maybe it would benefit people to go take a walk and enjoy nature, as Wright often did. ? Getting this worked up over people's opinions has to make a person wonder.. Some like it, some do not. Only one person is paying for it, and as long as they like it, good for them....

Kevin, Thank you so much for posting the photographs. I looked at them the first time you had them up, but I wasn't able to spend enough time looking at them. The home is quite a treat for the eyes! There are so many details and experiences in the home. I don't know what the story is on why this was...
