Speaking of what can (or can't) be called Wright styled, what do you think about this house ? It's located in Santa Barbara, CA, and is described as "Frank Lloyd Wright- inspired . So far, I can see that it's not entirely unjustified, but how accurate would be this description? The same company...

I wouldn't call this steampunk ; too modern, it's not the style of the late 19th century either. It's between very late steampunk and very early dieselpunk, your call!

I'd vouch for them being Italian Stone Pines, they're not a native species from the region but people ordering designer houses and then importing rare plants isn't something that's unheard of.
