Seems a shame that such an adventurous building envelope should end up with such conventional private spaces . . . ?

I agree. It seems like there may have been an interior renovation. Did you see that shot of the face off between the fridge and the ovens!
I like the roof structure. Wonder how well detailed it was to handle the water?

I think that's the last thing to worry about, with this roof form . . .
I assume the clerestory/dormer lites face north, roughly ? This barn-like space might have been configured in any number of ways, depending on need and whim ?
