Second time around for the Canadian house. Excellent exterior, but the blindingly white interior is sterile. With a fresh blanket of snow covering the valley, could one tell whether he was inside or out?

The MI house is less aesthetically intriguing than a typical McMansion.

PM architects continually spouted off about "dialogues with the environment" (and never mentioning what the environment had to say about the discussion). Now a rather decent example of architecture has to be identified as a "re-interpretation" of Frank Lloyd Wright... what, second time around might work out better? I get it, but how some talented people abhor what color adds to the Art always confounds me; the preference for stark contrast (always white) as opposed to having a true "dialogue" with the environment. One can easily see how this work could soar with more accommodation to what the site actually has to offer... rather than walking through a house museum and viewing the landscape as framed pictures, as opposed to being more at one with it- I guess that's the "re-interpretation"? But in reality, evidence of the rejection of Wright while touting empty comparisons.

The architect named was a Taliesin Apprentice starting in 1944 according to John Geiger.

If it doesn't look like a Wright, maybe it can smell like one...

My house came with a spray can of "Neutra-Air" in the bathroom for the times it doesn't smell right; I chuckled at the irony.

Fast Company shows a blank screen. No matter. Incense smells like incense, whatever the 'flavor.' Having lived through the Horrible Hippie era, when the stench of the stuff was hard to avoid (in addition to the waxy, gag-inducing stench of scented candles), I could not care less.

I would imagine Eau du Frank to smell like wet wool.
