Tsk tsk. It might not play in Peoria---but it wasn't built in Peoria ! Few man-made structures look better as ruins (does anyone think T West would ?). Restore it and be proud.

True, SDR. Taliesin West would not go over at all in Iran, but Shams would be a hit if restored. But if there were an ultimate judge of ugly, Shams would be on the list.
