I think this might be Henken's Work not Frank Lloyd Wright's. I can't remember the home name but I have seen it.

Serlin, Reisley, and Friedman were all designed by Wright.

Serlin might have had an addition added on but I don't think it had a pitched roof.

Living the Wright Way - it's Serlin (which does have a sloped roof section).

The addition, which is substantial, was originally built to house a whole bunch o' cats! A cat house, as it were. Here's a case to consider relative to the other post on restoration.

There is no original client at Usonia with the name Wilsker. We do not know from what is written whether this Pleasantville house is actually at Usona.

What's listed as the 'new master bedroom' was originally the 'cat house' addition.

So, where on the plan were the color photos taken ? Could they be reversed ? If I'm not mistaken, all roofs pitch upward toward the top of the plan drawing. . .

I say all the photos are either from the new Master Bedroom or The Studio. It isn't the living room by looking at the photo looking down the hall. I do believe it is the New Master Bedroom from the photo looking down the hall.

Here is a link to wiki which also has links to the Flickr photoset I mentioned.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usonia_Homes

If so, where is the square object seen on the plan in the upper right corner of the room ? And, you're saying that the roof slopes down to the left side of the drawing, rather than to the bottom of the plan -- like the other rooms of the house ?

On pp 71-2, Reisley says "Wright's designs for future additions were not built, though years later Aaron Resnick modified what was to be a sculpture studio into a study for a new owner. The addition [?] is seamless with the original." Reisley's text makes no mention of the 1996 bedroom addition by Todd Guggenheimer, which appears in the caption of the plan from the same page, above.

The color photo is from the end with the original master bedroom, with the living room extending out in the background. The other two photos are in the addition.

I can confirm the photos ARE from the new master bedroom addition. I don't know about that box on the plan,it might be there or something to do with the structure,it floats upon a pier over the hill

I'm sorry, Roderick -- can you expand on that ? There are two color photos on this page, apparently taken in the same room. . .to judge by the furnishings, and the roof slope.
