Does anyone know who's car that is that's in storage in the Midway Barn at Taliesin? One day while I was staying there with some fellow UWM students we went exploring inside Midway and found this old cherokee red car with sheepskin seat covers. We figured it either belonged to Wright or one of the apprentices, since I'm guessing Wright's apprentices also had some of their cars painted cherokee red. Oh how I wish I could have taken it out for a drive around Spring Green, imagining myself on the long trek to Arizona! Maybe someday I'll email someone at Taliesin Preservation and see if they know.... |

Knowing the make would help. If later than 1940, it would have to be a Continental to be Wright's. If a Mercedes, it might have been Wes Peters'. |
