Quick -- Monographs on Ebay!

Post by flwright »

For those of you on the hunt for a few volumes of the coveted Monograph series, there are 4 volumes currently listed on Ebay starting at $200 each with free shipping, no reserve and, so far, little interest. Some close in as little as three hours from this posting time. Knowing what these books normally fetch per volume, this sounds like a pretty good deal. Now, if only I had a spare $1k or two...

Compare that to one of the same volumes being sold by another vendor at $450!

I noticed these shot up to over $400 by the end of their run.

What I can't figure out is why the publisher hasn't re-issued these books on DVD.

...or why the Foundation has not actively pursued this for the needed revenue they are always short? They must know about eBay, too! I would not be surprised to see (an expensive) Foundation only associated CD/DVD "Monograph" pop up at some time.
