Don't know if anyone is familar with the careers of Frank Lloyd Wright's

descendants, but we dug up some interesting info about Eric Lloyd Wright

and Elizabeth Wright Ingraham.

We at PrairieMod are very interested in

their contributions to modern architecture while still practicing the

principles that their grand-father promulgated. A big plus is the

attention to Green Building.

Any thoughts on this topic? We'd love to hear from the architects of the group.

I have known Eric for over 20 years. He is one of the nicest, most sincere persons I know. His wife, Mary, is a sweetheart. Eric's efforts to bring sense and humanity to the development of the built environment are heartfelt. I just wish that ours was a more receptive society. But McBuilders will win. Profiteers always do. Going up to his 20+ acre aerie in Malibu, one must pass by developments that spring up like mushrooms despoiling some of the most beautiful property in Southern California. It's heartbreaking. Fortunately, at Eric's elevation, the lack of adequate water and the danger of fires keep the madness at bay ... so far. But the prospect of profit looms, and one never knows how long this can last.

Those facts are indeed true. It really is a shame. While profiteers will always prosper (even FLLW couldn't beat them, though his impact is undeniable) it is important to educate our society. At least give them an understanding of what is going on. Many people are oblivious. The same thing can be said about fossil fuel usage. But, there are other ways and these ideas must be put out in front of the Mobocracy.

Thank you for sharing that personal info on Eric Lloyd Wright. I am very interested in his ideas an hope that he has been able to influence a new generation.
