The house certainly leans heavily on Wright---with the notable exception of the "guillotine windows"---right down to the zig-zag stair trim and lack of handrail (note the swagged rope substitute) . . .

This is like a mix of a standard rich American's idea of what a mansion should be c. 1914, and detailing in the Wright mode.
A very handsome house, but probably will, in spite of its trifling cost, not continue as a private residence. |
