Beautiful and exciting---a budget Dart. All that brick ! The knotty pine beams are a shock---and indication of the original budget ?

And no busy little fingers have been at work on it---yet. Here's another Dart, much more upscale, which as undergone some updating (that floating ceiling is in it's "original finish" ? Hmm).

Five bedrooms within 1428 sf? I assume the 1428 is the upper level only, and 2 of the bedrooms being in the basement leaves only 3 bedrooms upstairs?

Very nice house, much warmer than the larger house. But it looks like both houses got their 'updated' kitchens at the same big box store. The larger house is cold inside, so the new kitchen fits right in, but the warmth of the smaller house called for something other than what they got.

I doubt---I hope---that the larger house wasn't so chilly when Mr Dart was finished with it.

That herringbone slate (?) floor is a rich note---suitable to an all-masonry structure ...?
