There has been some remodeling of Jackson's former residence in La Verne, California. I'm not partial to the remodeling, but the house seems largely intact. See below:

It is an impressive estate, nestled or not. But on the Jan. 19 issue of Curbed LA is another Jackson house on the market nearby that he did in collaboration with Sam Maloof (7,000 sf, $2.8M) that is a better piece of architecture, and is definitely "nestled." 126 Summit Road, La Verne, CA. It doesn't have 10 acres, which probably accounts for the difference in price, even though the house is almost twice the size.
