According to the list by listing of those in the Fellowship done by Elizabeth Kassler in 1982, Drake was in the Fellowship until the summer of 1941. Looks like he left at the same time as the other apprentices in the Fellowship, such as Edgar Tafel, who left when FLW started requiring all of the work done in the studios being only his work, and not outside commissions by apprentices (Curtis Besinger discussed this in his book, Working with Mr. Wright.


Drake married Cornelia Brierly's sister, Hulda (who had also been an apprentice). So he was Indira Berndtson & Anna Coor's uncle.
