According to John Geiger's Apprentice List, Alvin Lustig arrived at Taliesin on June 1st, 1935.

Unfortunately, the house is over the hill from Silver Lake Reservoir, and instead has an unobstructed view of the Golden State and Glendale freeway interchange.
