Excellent. Don't miss the additional photos on the "to rent" page:

The material palette list omitted the steel, which is a visible---and enjoyable---part of the construction.
Senor Kalach is a hidden gem of North American architectural design.

It seems to me, Sr. Kalach is more informed by Luis Barragan than FLW. Take away Barragan's stucco and vivid colors, and you have Kalach.

Sure RG, but we can call anything Frank Lloyd Wright!

Some of Kalach's work is made of simple and monolithic closed forms, but the majority of it seems much more constructivist in nature. Separate pieces of
different materials, each doing its job, are exposed for all to see. The project that is the subject of this thread exemplifies that tendency in spades; when I
first glimpsed the photos I thought immediately of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson . . .
The most Wrightian aspect of many of Kalach's buildings must be the emphasis on horizontal planes, and on the roofs in particular ? Perhaps Roderick is
addressing the invisible (or at least transparent) element: space . . .
