Yes. Only the unusual large-and-largely-empty space of that particular Rummer seemed to recall the ditto space of May's own unique home . . .

Whatever happened to Cliff May's house? He owned many acres of prime land in Sullivan Canyon that has obviously been redeveloped by now, but I don't know what became of the wonderful house itself. Probably destroyed, too small for the Brentwood crowd.

Mandalay was demolished and replaced with a private housing complex; only the gate house survives.
