Journal OA+D V6:N3 Imperial Hotel :: PRE-ORDER

Post by PrairieMod »

The winter 2018 issue of the Journal of Organic Architecture + Design (Volume 6, Number 3) will be a special double-sized issue dedicated to the Imperial Hotel and is scheduled to start shipping at the end of December.

In this issue, OA+D is honored to feature an unbelievable essay by Frank Lloyd Wright authority Kathryn Smith and re-publishfor the first time in its entirety in the United Statesthe rare 1923 Japanese portfolio of photographic plates about the building.

I had heard that JOA+D was considering reprinting some of the out-of-print issues. Do you have any info on that PrairieMod?

The Imperial Hotel issue looks spectacular! I can't wait for mine to come.

Reprints are definitely a possibility, but with such thin resources, the new issues get priority.

More people signing up for subscriptions and end-of-year donations to the not-for-profit would definitely go a long way to help ensure the work OA+D does can continue and grow in the coming year:
