Great house! The lantern at the foot of the stairs is a nice touch....elegant, lights the well evenly, and easy to reach for relamping.
I was not aware FBB had work on the west coast.

Lovely. Craftsman informed by Prairie ? In any event, a warm calm and quiet residential environment. Plain warm-brick fireplaces a la Wright, with wood
grain and good plaster as accompanying material, are able to express an indoor-outdoor vibe by virtue of the exterior nature of those same materials. It
works every time, and is a defining accomplishment both of Wright and of the Arts and Crafts architects and designers. Wright's severe forms, echoed in
the Craftsman work, are a major component of this visual magic trick . . .
