The boathouse dating has an interesting story behind it, which the Journal of the Taliesin Fellows carried about 20 years ago, reprinted from a Wisconsin history journal.

The 1902 date came from Wright's memory many years later (and, coincidentally or not, had the effect of making him look more precocious). Scholars then worked up theories that it was the germ of many of the great prairie-period designs that followed.

Then a historian looked into the University's records and contacted Beye's descendants, establishing that it actually came from a few years later, in the middle of those designs rather than before them.

Been reading Aguar’s Wrightscapes.
... speaking of “the stream”
Interesting and persuading links he makes
In the very early work to major themes in the fully developed designs

Perhaps you could quote or paraphrase the author, on "the stream" ? I'm not sure what that is, in Wright-speak . . .

FLW's willingness to fudge dates is most blatantly exhibited in the Cinema Project of 1894 ... er, 1905 ... er, 1915.
