One step closer to completion! Joe designed and fabricated this birch AV cabinet for our living room (original dormitory) . The shelving at the far right "snakes" (a reference to my beloved water snakes) up to become a recessed LED light fixture.

The house will be featured on an April 25 Columbus AIA tour.

Spectacular! And to think how short a time ago the whole house was such a mess!
You have persevered and conquered.

Really wonderful, Dorri. Congratulations to you and to Joe for taking on such a monumental task - and creating such a beautiful outcome!

Thanks! My daughter recently posted this photo Glenbrow from Fall of 2013, at the time we discovered the property:

If it ever turns to spring here (snowed today), we'll start on the tower.

As Bette Davis memorably said in "Beyond the Forest" and might have said upon seeing Glenbrow in its 'before' condition: "This place is a dump!"
What you have accomplished is striking.

Thank you, Grant. The house is fortunate that it was built on such an enchanting site with fall crocus in bloom at the of our initial visit, not to mention I was unaware that much of the vining was poison ivy!

When you put a lot of effort into achieving something in life, you appreciate more than something that is easily obtained. It was a lot of hard work, but well worth it in the long run. Now if spring would ever appear, I'd be a happy camper! I'm tired of snow and puffy coats!
