https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wyoming,_Iowa_County,_Wisconsin

I’ve often heard and read of the vicinity being called the Wyoming Valley, but not the town of Wyoming.

There are a host of definitions for "town" according to where it is located, which state, which country. Usually it refers to an unincorporated area of ambiguous extent.

Wyoming Valley is located almost exactly two miles west of Hillside, along Rush Creek. It's where Mr. Wright's school was built in the 1950's, along the road to Dodgeville. Wyoming Valley and Rush Creek are separated from Jones Valley (and its Lowery Creek) by a group of north-south trending hills called Pleasant Ridge. Both creeks drain north into the Wisconsin River.

Taliesin has a Spring Green address, because it's from the Spring Green Post Office that mail is sent and received.
