If this sort of thing can become a commonplace in education, moving away from book learning exclusively, that would be, as Martha would say, "A good thing." It should be noted that FLW was introduced to Froebel when he was 9, but was already seeing geometry in nature at a much earlier age, so Froebel was more confirmation than inspiration.
