How long has this house been on the market? Several years ago it up for sale with a price north of $5M, if memory serves.

Perhaps the semicircular window (is that a demi-lunette ?) is the weaker member in the panoply of Wrightian clichés ? We were sneering at it recently
in a rendering of the unbuilt Affleck 2 project. And it has never pleased me, as applied to Mr Wright's damaged-and-altered Continental---where it
doesn't even have the decency to settle into the horizontal of the existing body design.

One problem modern buildings have is that they don't get along well with one another. The Lykes House is not enhanced by its neighbor.
Of course, the treeless nature of the site makes comity all the more difficult.

The views from the interior are directed away from the house behind it.
