Don Erickson was a great architect whose work embodied the teachings of Mr. Wright. He worked in the NW Chicago suburbs, where is own house is located.

My wife and I were able to spend an evening with him, shortly before he passed, and listen to him tell stories about his time with Mr. Wright.

The house that is pictured in the link above was the first house he ever designed. He did it while he was an apprentice at Taliesin.

Erikson was born in '29, and this very fine house was built in '52. Quite a piece of work for a 23-year-old.
