Where's the:
clothes washer and dryer, HVAC unit, electrical distribution panel, utility service meters, beef?

PJ had a separate building for such necessaries...is the prefab buyer to do the same or risk violating the perfection?

Johnson considered his Glass House uninhabitable, and never actually resided in it.

I went to the website, and they offer several different models with additional bedrooms.

One move that I always liked about Johnson's house was the cylindrical bathroom, which is absent from this version.

The plan drawing indicates a window-wall section and placement of columns which comes close to Johnson's prototype. It's all downhill from there, I'm afraid. Johnson's house sits at a certain elevation above grade, and on a brick foundation and floor surface. Even his can lights on the roof facia add to the unique character of the work.

This house is neat enough; the kitchen seems attractively furnished with cabinetry, for instance. But the whole should not be confused with the original.
