I'm not sure if this was shared earlier or not.

This is the most I have seen of this house. One wonders what the original finishes beneath all that paint look like. The interior trim wood appears to be very much darkened by age and whatever coated it. Looks like a very livable house.

Same view, and pretty much intact, looks painted. Too bad those wild posts appear not to have survived. (Taschen)

I just noticed in the link photo a hint of the posts..... at least one. Surprised they didn't feature it in the ad.

The carriage house or garage has a matching roof.

As Google shows, as of 2015 the Tori gate span the walk and the two posts flanking the drive are still in place.

I'm sure the house has always been painted. Love the mauve carpeting!

Is Pullman a desirable location? $250K seems low for such a spacious plot of land.

I've shot the outside of every Wright in Chicagoland. Only twice have I been apprehensive about the neighborhood; this was one of the two. That said, friends in Chicago tell me this is a lot like the West Adams district in LA, where the area is tough but gentrifying.
