I assume the Bloomfield Hills house comes with bellhops and Muzak.

The Australian number is the sort of faux grandeur style that is popping up all over West Hollywood, albeit on a smaller (but no less stunning ... ie "to be stunned by a baseball bat") scale.

The Bloomfield Hills mansion is certainly obnoxiously deluxe. But it exhibits a great deal of discipline on the part of its designers. The allée from a kitchen through a living space and out through the glass is impressive. And I love that roof fascia . . .

That's very svelte. The canted soffits to the roof deserve a revealing photo . . .

...yes, SDR, more photos in general are needed. This house is very handsome and "clean." The same architect's "dreamy Scandinavian-inspired Minnesota lake home" is equally interesting.

One a handsome, warm home, unfortunately in Akron; one a cold, soulless pile near Banff. Which to choose! Hmmmm

As un-Wright as it is, it is still an interesting MCM.
