Great project! Is it your place? What are you planning for the exterior, stone?

If it's stone, there are places where the cladding would protrude beyond the roof fascia. Even with the thinnest coat of stucco it will be a close call.

Acting as one's own contractor is one thing; design-it-yourself, for all but the most talented owner, is not recommended. But, to each his own. It's a shame that Mr Wright's name has to be dragged into it.

If non-architects didn't make an effort, we wouldn't have Grandma Prisbrey's Bottle Village.

No, it's not my project. I've just been posting occasional links to the work as it progresses as I find them on Youtube posted by the owner.

Does the future lawn slope slightly up from the concave side of this amazing construction ? Maybe that's just an illusion in the video.

Clearly this owner likes "plain and simple." Tell me that isn't a primary entrance door nearest the camera, in most of the video . . .

Does anyone know who is building this house. or where it is? The videos are interesting, but there's no background info given - is it an original design; based on another design, etc?
