My grandfather left this beautiful book to me, it's in the orginal box. Black bound box holding 50 prints. Looking price for insurance. Thanks any help would be great. I see that there are two other volumes that were produced vol 2 is red, and vol 3 is??? :( :D

In excellent condition the replacement cost is approximately$1200 to $1400.

I have seen volume 3 for $1500. Volume 1 is much more scarce and desireable, so I would expect it to be priced higher, although I have not seen one on the market for 20 years.

check ebay completed items for estimates; they show up on ebay quite frequently. you could also call the prairie avenue bookstore in chicago and ask them for a price; they usually have them available for sale.



if someone hasn't seen one for sale in some time, they haven't been looking.
