I have never heard of B. Marshall Watkyns, but he was certainly a fine A&C architect; this house is stunning!
I note that my old friend, the late Martin Eli Weil, worked on a restoration of the kitchen. Martin owned a minor G&G house, the Lucy Wheeler House @ 2175 Cambridge St., LA. He invested years of his life into restoring what had become a rather shabby structure in a questionable neighborhood where crab grass was not the only weed growing. Googley, it looks to be in fine shape. Even on a tight budget, the Greene brothers could produce excellent work.
