Duncan-Irwin

Post by Roderick Grant »

Extraordinary house! The expansions, piece by piece, were done seamlessly, making it look as if it had been built that way originally.

One former owner also owned La Miniatura at the same time. For Duncan-Irwin, he had Jim Ipekjian, fabricator of the Barnsdall couches, make several spot-on G&G pieces for D-I.

If the relatively small Wolff House, on its tiny lot, dares to ask $6.5M, the $4.7M for Duncan-Irwin seems like a giveaway.

I think the front door alone is worth that price. Beautiful.
