If there is anything more specific to any FLW design than the art glass windows, it is the wonderful rugs he designed. These are appalling. But perhaps the outlandish prices for these throw rugs will keep them from catching on. (Nine grand for a 6'x9' rug?) |

I'd choose any vintage Navajo wool blanket, Moroccan Beni Ourain diamond pattern rug, Turkish Kilim, or just a simple off white neutral wool carpet over any of these, at least if used in a Wright house where a sense of repose is desirable. A few of them might be nice as wall hangings. I find them too intense for their size if used for the floor. |
