I had the opportunity to visit the home during a fundraiser and I echo the article's sentiments. Messrs Silk and Morgan have been exemplary stewards of the house, and have been generous with showing it for philanthropic and other purposes. They should get an award of some kind.

As an aside, my wife and I walked into the then unoccupied music room and I was stunned at how beautiful it was. I said to my wife: We have just been transported into the 1950's.

Silk & Morgan Received the very prestigious "Wright Spirit Award" for outstanding stewardship, of the Turkel house, back in 2013.
