Google Satellites Spot FSC Usonian

Street views are updated only occasionally, but the satellites are snapping away and a recent project for students at Florida Southern uncovered this image. The Usonian house is in the upper left corner and is shown with the roof completed. The view also shows the water dome in operation, a lucky shot, because it only runs on a limited schedule. Nice work, Google!

Michael, I do indoor google street view photography work and have people in FL that can attach it to street view when it is complete. Just let me know and I can find someone in that area.

Google has a program that connects the inside of buildings to street view allowing the user to walk around the location in full 360 imagery. Together about 2000 photographers have shot 100,000 businesses so far around the world. It is still only a year. You can see an example I did here: http://goo.gl/maps/r0b3q or there is even a university in Australia that was shot here: http://goo.gl/maps/H5pkZ (friend of mine did that one).

I am going to try to get Fallingwater and some other FLW places eventually but it is not easy to setup and get approvals sometimes. Anyone else with a place you may want added, let me know. There is some restrictions but it is possible to get around them with Google's approval and I have access to about 1000 certified photographers to do so.
