It does count, but not on this list. This is Original Owners still living in their own homes.

Any more thoughts?

WG - you are correct about Ollie Adelman. I just read where he had passed away this past January at the age of 96.

If you count institutional clients, Johnson Wax and presumably his churches would make the list.

I am wondering about Elam (1950) and LaFond (1960) in Minnesota? Original owners, family?

Elam is owned by Plunkett and LaFond is owned by Schrup.

By the way, the wonderful Elam house will be on one of the Conservancy's Tours this October based in Mason City, IA.

Yes, Elam is wonderful and unusual with its 45 degree angle plan. The only others I can recall where FLW used it were the Penfield II project and Taliesin West.

I recently heard that the Trier House might be added to the Conservancy Post-Conference Tour that includes the Sunday House.

Ooops, Roberts and Blair also have 45 degree angles. Maybe others?

I believe that Elam is still in the same family.

Thanks Paul. Storrer says the Elams had a "falling out" with FLW and had to finish their kitchen without Wright's design. Have wondered what the story is behind that. An assignment for the Conference Tour members?

Perhaps few would agree with this assessment, but in my opinion the "general" form of Elam (1950) derives directly from The Unitarian Church in Madison (1949), seen, perhaps, as through a scrim.

Does anyone know the ages of these original owners?
I only know that Christian is 95.
