"Scarse?"

That sunburst design, isn't that something FLW designed for his Sun Trap Cottage? Or am I wrong ...?

Wrong, not Wright!

I think they meant to say John Lloyd Wright instead of Frank Lloyd Wright. He built it of Lincoln Logs.

Hey there! I just joined when I found one of you mentioned my "Prairie" style basket from the Ms. Jeaneology blog interview. My father was an architect and was influenced by Wright and that showed in his work over the years. I have really enjoyed all of your posts in this part of the forum! Some of it is Laugh out Loud material!

Looking forward to contributing in the future! (The whole site not just this part!) Thanks for the mention of my work.

Bradley

Geez. "Style: Mid-Century Modern"

Which century would that be ? More Burnham that Wright -- and more Eastlake that any of the above ?

"Inspired by" Frank Lloyd Wright. Yah, I know it (as a punk I once knew would say). At least it isn't claimed to be by FLLW . . . !

From the EBay listing:
You will not find another couch like this one anywhere!
One can hope.

Dan:

Even though Sweeton has lost the majority of it's original furniture, this "rare Frank Lloyd inspired design" might be just what highly respected interior designer Fred Lloyd Wright would suggest as a suitable replacement.

West Chester, PA (where this "(b)eautifully unique with true Frank Lloyd Wright simplicity" couch is located) - appears to be a mere hop, skip and a jump from Cherry Hill.

And I promise not to bid against you on this one.

Sorry, but in my opinion the couch is light years from Sweeton!
