Olson Kundig urban usonian, Seattle

I'll let readers decide if this "cabin" is a small-U usonian; a red concrete floor is only one ingredient in a material palette almost entirely of wood and glass, with galvanized steel playing a small supporting (ahem) role.

Wish we had the plan. I'll look for it. In the meantime, an enormous residential catalog:

I would be very comfortable in that fine cabin.

Yes. Here's something more remote, and a little grander. How about that minimalist and wide-open kitchen, when the windows are retracted . . .

And of course this. Wish there were more images: https://olsonkundig.com/projects/fallin ... mpetition/

Heh. Yeah, that's sweet---their smallest house, I suppose ? Love how they left the stenciled lettering on the steel.

Jay sends drawings of the City Cabin.

It looks like not everyone at the firm favors minimalism, for a personal residence anyway:

Great house, but it probably cost more than 100 Usonians back in the day.
