Any idea what's going on with the current sales price? $8 million when the current seller paid just over $1.6 million for it within the last year? I like making profits too but 5Xs what was paid for it? And it took forever and several price reductions to sell it to the current owner. The listing agent attempts to cite the cost-prohibitive nature of trying to replicate some of the construction as a means to justify the asking price. Am sure (unfortunately) just a matter of time until a sales price is obtained reflecting its true highest and best use to most buyers (teardown). Or was gold discovered somewhere on the property? LOL
Hopefully a preservation-minded buyer can cut through whatever is going on with the sales price and obtain it for a fair sum...

I agree, Craig. It's a tough one to warm up to, even in the blistering Phoenix sun. It was an interesting idea that somehow got off the rails.
