Tour of Drummond's Abbott House!

Post by bpardue »

The listing agent for the Gordon Abbott House in Hinsdale said he'd love to show the house to a small group of Prairie enthusiasts this Sunday, 12/17/06 (hoping to spread the word as much as possible). I still need to settle some details (like the time, if you should reply to me or directly to him), etc., but I wanted to get word out ASAP so interested folks could clear out their calendars. I'll post with additional details as soon as I know them.

Kerry Meissner, the listing agent, would like anyone interested in the tour to contact him first at kerry.meissner@sothebysrealty.com. Please don't arrive unannounced!

He's asking folks to arrive between 1 and 2, and the tour will end by 3.

The house is at 105 N. Grant, at the corner of Grant & Maple in Hinsdale:

In addition to showing the house, he'll have the original plans by Drummond.

So, let's do a field trip!

Kerry also has a Kodak Gallery of pictures of the house. He'll gladly send the link to anyone who requests it: kerry.meissner@sothebysrealty.com.
