not in the FLW Field Guide. Is it in the FLW Monograph? or the more recent Frank Lloyd Wright. Complete Works by BBP?
Because no other photos of the house have come to light, it is impossible to verify that John was inspired by the Sherman Booth house in Illinois---either the built or the unbuilt design. It may even be that historian Lerner is confusing this commission with John's first house, which is said to have been based on a different unbuilt Frank Lloyd Wright design for Glencoe, from 1906, a house for Grace Fuller. But it doesn't seem likely that Mr Lerner would have uncovered that one, considering what he has or hasn't learned about the work of John Lloyd Wright.
